For CFO · 8 Grok Bots

A finance back office that lands the close and makes the board deck tie out

8 Grok Bots for a CFO: track the close, watch cash and runway, draft every variance, build the board deck and the lender packet, and review controls — all as drafts you approve.

The problem it targets

Turning raw ledger and bank data into a trustworthy monthly story — chasing the close checklist across a thin team, rebuilding the cash and runway view by hand, explaining every variance from scratch, assembling the board deck the night before, and re-keying the same numbers into the lender and investor packet — so the close slips, the cash picture is stale, variances go unexplained, and the board deck is a fire drill every month.

What you get

From day one

1

The month-end close tracked to its target day — every reconciliation, owner, and blocker named — and a cash-and-runway view rebuilt from the bank export so you always know the position.

2

A budget-versus-actual variance write-up drafted for the period, and a board deck drafted from the closed numbers with every figure cited to its close working paper.

3

An investor-and-lender reporting packet compiled from the close with covenants flagged, and a control-gap review note listing each gap and a proposed fix for you to decide.

What the fleet does in week one

All read-and-prepare — you check its work before anything is trusted

What it does not do

The guardrails are the product

  • ×It drafts; it does not send. Every deck, packet, and message waits for your approval.
  • ×It never posts a journal entry, closes the books, moves money, or files a return — those are yours.
  • ×It works only your own opted-in investor, lender, and board contacts. It does not buy lists or reach anyone you have not chosen.
  • ×It never puts a figure in front of the board that does not trace to the ledger, the bank export, or your approved model.
On-time
close and traceable board reporting
How you'll know it's working

One number, measured over time

Whether the monthly close lands by its target day with every account reconciled or flagged, and whether every number in the board and lender packet traces to the close with no last-minute rebuild

Before day one

What you fill in — the bots never guess these

close-checklist
the header contract for the close checklist every bot reads.
cash-position
the account and burn layout for the cash and runway view.
board-finance-section
your board deck's finance layout; figures come only from the close working papers.

How access works

You buy a CrokPot fleet from Workplace AI — not a Cursor plan

CrokPot runs on Workplace AI, Inc.’s (WAI) Cursor Teams workspace. WAI keeps the unpaid admin seat and pays Cursor for your seat. You join as the invited user on your real email and work through the installed Grok Bot fleet.

Your card is charged by WAI via Stripe for the CrokPot fleet ($200/mo, auto-renewing monthly) only — never by Cursor. If you cancel your fleet subscription, the invite/seat ends with it and is not portable to your own Cursor account.

What do I actually get?

A pre-built fleet of Grok Bots for your trade, provisioned and installed for you on Workplace AI’s Cursor Teams workspace, plus onboarding and ongoing training. Every bot drafts; you approve.

Who owns the seat?

Workplace AI, Inc. (WAI) owns the Cursor Teams account and pays Cursor for your seat. You’re invited as a paid user on your own email. The seat isn’t portable to a personal Cursor account.

Do the bots act on their own?

No. The fleet is drafts-only, working from your own data. Nothing sends, files, or is trusted until you review and approve it — that’s the whole design.

Can I cancel?

Yes, anytime. It’s an auto-renewing monthly subscription at $200/mo. If you cancel, your invite/seat ends with the subscription.

What happens after I pay?

We follow up soon: our team provisions your fleet and invites you on the email you used at checkout. Watch for your Cursor Teams invite and Grok Bot download link, then accept, install, and go.
